New Financial COVID-19 Vaccine Incentive Through OutcomesMTM for Ohio Medicaid Patients


Medication Management Therapy (MTM) platform OutcomesMTM announced that additional incentives are being provided via Immunization-COVID-19 (D) TIPS. Ohio Medicaid patients in the following plans are eligible for this incentive.

  • Buckeye Health Plan- Medicaid
  • Molina Medicaid
  • Molina Medicaid- COVID-19 Immunization
  • Paramount – Medicaid
  • UHC Ohio Medicaid

Pharmacists can log into the ConnectTM  Platform to obtain information on eligible patients who have not yet received the vaccine. Under this TIP, pharmacists will be required to:

  • Discuss the benefits of receiving a COVID-19 immunization and recommend they receive the vaccine 
  • Address any vaccine hesitancy 
  • Administer the vaccine at your pharmacy or refer the patient to a location where they can receive the vaccine and confirm administration

Documentation requirements include the date of immunization administration and an attestation that the patient received the vaccine. Pharmacies who refer patients to other vaccine locations can also claim the TIP by following up with the patient and recording the date the patient received the immunization.

Services will only be payable if the claim includes clinical assessment, recommendation, and confirmation of administration. Pharmacies interested in this program can sign up for OutcomesMTM here to act on these TIP opportunities.
