OPA invites you to submit a nomination for a position as OPA Officer, Pharmacist Executive Committee Member-at Large, Pharmacist District Trustee or Technician Regional Trustee. Leadership in OPA will afford you the opportunity to move Ohio pharmacy forward, to contribute to OPA’s planning process, to develop skills that will benefit you professionally and personally, to meet and exchange ideas with innovators in the profession, and to feel a sense of accomplishment. Exciting things are happening with the practice of pharmacy. Be a part of it, but hurry! September 15, 2026 is the deadline to apply for leadership positions in the Ohio Pharmacists Association. Vice President. The Vice President is responsible for assuming the duties of the President in the absence of the President and the President-Elect. They shall be a voting member of the Executive and Finance Committees, and the Board of Trustees. The Vice President is elected for a term of one year, then assumes the offices of President-Elect, President, and Past President for one-year terms.
Pharmacist Executive Committee Member-at-Large. The Pharmacist Executive Committee Member-At-Large serves a two-year term (2027-2029). They shall serve as Secretary of the Board of Trustees and of the House of Delegates and assume such duties as assigned by the President.
Pharmacist District Trustees. Districts 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14 will be electing one trustee each to serve 2027-2029 terms on the Board of Trustees, which meets four times in-person and virtually every 1-2 months. District is based on where the individual lives and/or works. See the district map below to determine your district by the where your county appears.
Technician Regional Trustees. Regions Central and Northwest will be electing one trustee each to serve 2027-2029 terms on the Board of Trustees, which meets four times in-person and virtually every 1-2 months. Region is based on where the individual lives and/or works. See the district map and region list below to determine your region by the where your county appears. The 1-year membership requirement is temporarily waived for technician member applicants for this election.

Any OPA active member may apply. All OPA members will vote for officers. District Trustees will be elected by members of their individual districts. Regional Trustees will be elected by members of their region.
Technician Regions:
- Northeast Ohio (Encompassing Districts 11, 12, 13, & 14)
- Northwest Ohio (Encompassing Districts 1, 2, & 3)
- Central Ohio (Encompassing Districts 5, 9, & 10)
- Southern Ohio (Encompassing Districts 4,6,7 & 8)
