Awards Luncheon
Friday 11:25 a.m.
OPA will recognize professional excellence to the profession, to the community, and to the Association at the Awards Luncheon. Media representatives will be recognized for their support of educating the public on safe medicine use and for awareness of pharmacy issues.

Trade Show and Door Prize Drawing
Friday, 4:10 – 6:00 p.m. & Saturday, 11:15 – 1:30 p.m.
Pharmacists can connect with new products and services from today’s leading companies at the Trade Show. By visiting each booth, you are also eligible to enter a drawing for door prizes donated by our exhibitors. There is no concurrent programming during Trade Show hours, so this is the perfect time to network with your colleagues and have a little fun!

Poster Session
Friday, 4:10-6:00 p.m.

Our Annual Poster Session will feature the research of the faculty and students from Ohio’s colleges of pharmacy, as well as from practitioners around the state. The Poster Session will follow the Ohio Research Forum 2013 CE session. Thanks to Procter & Gamble for their support of this innovative and interesting program.

Innovative Practice Showcase
Friday  4:10 - 6:00 pm
New to this year’s Conference, this showcase will feature practitioners, students, and residents across the state who will display marketing, documentation, protocols, policies, etc. of their innovative services. This showcase will follow a CE program of innovative practice models in Ohio, including ideas, opportunities, and resources.

Friday Entertainment: Join us at the OPA County Fair!
Friday  7:00 pm
Wear your boots and come dressed in your finest fair “duds” to join us for a tasty dinner with your friends!  There will be midway games, music, dancing and even line/square-dancing instructors to teach you the latest boot-scootin’ moves! It’s fair to say – you’ll have a great time!     

PAC Breakfast
Saturday, 7:15 a.m.

Support and strengthen pharmacy’s influence in Ohio’s General Assembly by attending the Political Action Committee (PAC) Breakfast.  You’ll hear from an influential Ohio political figure, and contribute to the success of the PAC.  You can also sponsor a student. Details included on the registration form.

Career Experts Panel
Saturday, 10:00 - 11:15 a.m.
At OPA’s first ever Career Experts Panel, we have several pharmacists and recruiters who will share their insights about their companies and what they look for in pharmacist candidates. Thanks to Wal-Mart for their support of this new program.

House of Delegates
Saturday, 4:40 p.m.
The House of Delegates serves as the legislative and policy-making body of the Association.  Be a part of the policy-making decisions for the practice of pharmacy in Ohio through the resolutions and bylaws processes.

Alumni Reception and President’s Banquet
Saturday, 7:00 p.m.
Reunite with your faculty and friends at the College Alumni Reception sponsored by the Council of Ohio Colleges of Pharmacy.  It will be followed by the President’s Banquet, entertainment, the installation of OPA President Larry Schieber and the 2013-2014 officers and trustees, and a dessert bar.

Christian Pharmacists Fellowship International (CPFI) Breakfast
Sunday  7:15 am
Conference attendees are invited to join together for an engaging time of fellowship, challenge and prayer.  This is a great opportunity to connect with other Christians in the profession, and be renewed in your vision for our profession. This continental breakfast event is included in your Full or Sunday-only registration.

Disclosure of faculty and commercial support relationships will be made known at each activity.

Continuing Education Credit
This Conference is targeted to all pharmacists and student pharmacists. The Continuing Education (CE) portion is coordinated by the Ohio Pharmacists Foundation. To receive credit, you must provide your NABP e-Profile ID number and birthdate on the CE form, indicate programs attended, and return the signed form to OPA within 30 days of the Conference. All CE credit will be uploaded to the CPE monitor at the end of each month. If you need an NABP e-Profile ID number, log onto www.nabp.net.

All CE sessions are knowledge-based activities unless otherwise indicated.
