October is American Pharmacists Month. We want to commend our members on the work they have done this year to provide quality patient care in the midst of a global pandemic. This year has also been momentous in OPA’s efforts to implement provider status. During this month, we will be showcasing all of the pharmacies participating in provider status programs across the state. Pharmacists will share their perspectives on the impact they are making among their patients and the significance of provider status in their workplace.

Also, be on the look out for the release of the Public and Professional Relations Committee's first video to promote pharmacists and the care they can provide. This feature will highlight the pharmacist’s role in diabetes management.
