April 20: Application deadline for OPA Executive Fellowship
OPA Executive Fellowship in Leadership and Association Management
Interested in pursuing a career in association management and leadership within a successful nonprofit organization? Then look no further! The Ohio Pharmacists Association Executive Fellowship is an opportunity to enhance those skills, and also receive training in advocacy for the profession, continuing education development and event coordination, to just name a few. Under the direction of OPA staff, the purpose of this fellowship is to help advance the profession while engaging with policy makers and state agencies.
The one-year fellowship begins July 1 and ends June 30. In addition to a stipend, group health insurance, and paid time off, other benefits are included. In order to qualify for the position, you must have a B.S. or B.A. from a U.S. accredited institution, good communication and presentation skills, and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Applicants are required to write a letter of intent, respond to three essay questions, and provide three letters of recommendations, with one being from a current or former employer.
