How did you get interested in the profession of pharmacy?

During my undergraduate studies, I had a great chemistry professor who motivated me to look into the pharmacy profession. I did and have been interested ever since.  J

Why did you choose OPA as a rotation site?

I have heard great things about the OPA rotation through past students, and really wanted a rotation that would offer a different experience. I also wanted to learn more about legislative/advocacy issues regarding the pharmacy profession. I have learned all of this and much more throughout my month at OPA.

What was the most significant or surprising experience at OPA?

For me, lobbying and attending health care hearings at the Statehouse was the most significant experience at OPA. It was the first time that I really saw the importance of advocacy first-hand, as well as learned why it is so important to be actively involved in the advancement of this profession!

What other pharmacy associations/organizations do you belong to?

APhA-ASP, SSHP

Hobbies:

Running/working out, traveling, spending time with friends/family, trying/seeing/exploring new things!
