Hello, Fellow Polar Bears!

This fall, the Ohio Pharmacists Association is bringing the 2026 OPA Innovation Summit – Midyear Reimagined to Ohio Northern University, and I would love to invite ONU alumni to return to Ada and help us make the meeting especially meaningful.

The Innovation Summit will be held on Friday, November 6, at Ohio Northern University. In many ways, we hope it will feel like an OPA and ONU pharmacy homecoming: an opportunity to reconnect with our alma mater, engage with colleagues from across the state, and showcase the important work ONU alumni are leading throughout the profession.

This year’s meeting will feature a new series of 15-minute practice innovation sessions designed to be concise, practical, and immediately applicable. You do not need to have a large research study or a fully perfected program to present. We want to hear about ideas and experiences that have made a meaningful difference in your practice.

Presentation themes include:

• Specialty Medications and Safety
• Remote Physiologic Monitoring
• Addressing Social Determinants of Health
• Clinical Guidelines 2026 Update

If you are doing work that could help move pharmacy practice forward, even if it is still evolving, I encourage you to submit a proposal. The submission process is brief, and proposals will be reviewed through a blinded process.
