Ohio Legislative Cancer Caucus

With the support of Representative Jim Carmichael, the Society helped establish the Ohio Legislative Cancer Caucus. The Caucus works to educate legislators about the many issues surrounding cancer care. Those issues include new developments in cancer care, clinical research, quality of care and patient access to care. The caucus also works to advance state policies that further cancer care access; research; improve prevention, diagnosis and treatment; and enhance the quality of life for cancer patients. The Society is heavily involved in the Cancer Caucus.
