Clinical Pharmacist

The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for clinical pharmacy activities related to prescription drug programs for Medicare Part D including, but not limited to: development and maintenance of Part D formulas, assisting with provider/member/staff education and training that stresses appropriate use/safety of medications and the importance of establishing treatment goals and medication adherence; and, facilitating development of clinical criteria for utilization of medications, applicable genetic testing.

Qualifications: -Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited College/School of Pharmacy -Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred -Minimum 2 years pharmacy practice experience in retail or pharmacy setting -2 years managed care pharmacy practice and PBM Part D experience -Current unrestricted license from the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy -Comprehensive understanding of managed care pharmacy, including formulary management, drug utilization management, quality assurance programs for members -Knowledge of medical/pharmacy terminology/coding and specialty drug management desired.
